They have taken a very manual data entry process, which used to take hours, into a very accurate outsourced service. We have the images viewable online and the data back into our production system quickly and more accurately than we ever accomplished ourselves.

Our client is one of the largest oil, gas, energy, and petrochemical companies in the world. Their site produces compounds used in the pharmaceuticals, packaging, and textiles industries.

Our client wanted to scan and digitise their production records and capture key information as an ongoing weekly service.

What We Did
We handled all the logistics for the initial collection of all the documents. Then we put in place an ongoing weekly collection schedule. After the documents were scanned and digitised, we uploaded the images to our cloud-based document and content management system, MDI Cloud. We used the captured data to name the scanned images. These were sent back to the client to provide an index for their in-house systems. We stored the paper documents in our secure, humidity-controlled facility. Then we shredded and recycled them in line with our client’s document storage and retention policy.
Thanks to our outsourced document scanning and data capture service, our client is now saving a huge amount of time and money every week.
