Who
The Client
Rolls-Royce PLC is the world’s leading provider of power systems for land, sea, and air. Over 13,000 Rolls-Royce engines are in service with 650 airlines. Their systems power 25% of the world’s military fleet and 30,000 vessels. The company also operates major worldwide businesses in the oil and gas industry.
What
Client Requirement
Rolls-Royce were committed to transitioning into a paper-free organisation. Their primary objectives were to streamline access to critical documents while eliminating the need for physical copies. Rolls-Royce chose Storetec as their trusted partner for document scanning, online hosting, and document storage services.
What
What We Did
We developed a solution tailored to Rolls-Royce’s needs. Our approach involved establishing a seamless monthly document collection process. These documents were then scanned and integrated into our cloud-based data and document management platform, MDI Cloud. The result? Rolls-Royce gained the ability to effortlessly search and access their payroll documentation 24/7, from anywhere in the world. With the assurance of our British Standard 10008 compliance for Legal Admissibility and Evidential Weight of Information Stored Electronically, Rolls-Royce could confidently part ways with the need to retain physical documents. Post-scanning, we securely stored their documents for a period of 30 days before shredding and recycling. By entrusting Storetec with their document scanning requirements, Rolls-Royce not only unlocked efficiency but benefitted from the quality, reliability, and resilience of our systems.
